Wenonah Athletic Association Monthly Meeting

The Wenonah Athletic Association will be having their monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 16 at 8:00pm at the Wenonah Community Center. All parents are invited. Volunteers are needed! Basketball Starts

Good luck to all the WAA Basketball Teams this year. All of our teams have started practice and are looking forward to a very successful season. Schedules and results will be sent to the WAA Email List in January. The coaches for this season are:

Baseball and Softball Registrations

Registrations for the WAA Baseball and Softball programs will take place on Saturday, January 12 and Wednesday, January 16 at the Wenonah Community Center. Please look for a notice in the Communication Envelope for times. If you have any questions, please contact Gary Odenbrett at 468-2627.

New Jersey Soccer Referee Class

The Wenonah Athletic Association will be hosting a New Jersey Soccer Referee Class for individuals interested in becoming a licensed referee or learning the rules of soccer. The class will be held on Saturday, January 19 and 26 from 8:30am to 4:00pm and Sunday, January 27 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The class will be held at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Wenonah. The class is open to all individuals 12 years of age and older. Coaches and parents, this would be an excellent opportunity to learn more about soccer, especially the rules of the game. Please contact Dean Sommers at 468-7511 to register for the class or for any questions.

Wenonah Athletic Association’s Annual Sports Banquet

Our annual Sports banquet will be held on Sunday, April 7 at Gambi Caterers. Please mark your calendar. The time of the banquet and ticket information will be published in the next newsletter and on the WAA Email list.
